How ion-exchange softening works

Hard water contains dissolved calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) ions — the minerals that leave white deposits on everything they touch. Ion-exchange resin beads swap these harmful ions for harmless sodium ions, delivering genuinely soft water to every tap.

Our Pentair USA-vessel softeners use the highest resin volume per unit in their class, which means fewer regeneration cycles, less salt consumption, and lower running costs.

Which system is right for you?

Independent house with borewell

Borewell water in Bengaluru's outskirts often has extreme hardness (600–1200 ppm). Combined sand filter and softener is essential.

Recommended: Sand filter + NE-1354 softener

Apartment with municipal supply

Bengaluru's BWSSB water typically has hardness of 200–400 ppm. Even municipal water causes significant scale buildup in geysers and on fixtures over time.
